Cooley Legends, Challenge 6

Having come through a long winter of training, we got our reward on Saturday when we ran the Cooley Legends Half Marathon in lovely sunshine across the Cooley Peninsula on lovely trails and taking in some of the finest views around, as you crest a shoulder of Slieve Foy before you enjoy the downhill into Carlingford Village.  I keep saying that doing the challenges for Pieta House makes every mile it's own reward and these miles certainly fit into that category.

You can see a few more photos from the day on facebook  and if you want to see some stats and graphics on the run, you can check it out here

Challenge 7 and 8 on the way, when we climb a sea stack at Easter and run twice this distance around the streets of Belfast a couple of weeks later!
